The Committee of School Directors is an advisory arm of the Guild's Board of Trustees. It is responsible for identifying, considering and advising the Board about issues that are of importance to the field and all Institutional Members. Committee members promote communication and provide support to other members, attend and encourage others to attend regional meetings and serve as advocates for the community arts movement. The School Directors Committee consists of no more than thirty-three Guild school directors, including the chair of each regional chapter.
