As part of the AMICI experience, each student will:
1) Understand and appreciate what a community arts institution is and learn about the mission and values of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts
2) Develop and practice a comprehensive range of nonprofit management skills
3) Have an opportunity to discuss and apply these skills to his/her own local settings and institutions
4) Increase his/her knowledge of the community arts education field, including available resources and networks, with opportunities to develop individual mentorships within the field for ongoing support and continuity.
