Mark your calendar for our 69th Annual Conference October 31 - November 4, 2006, in Phoenix, AZ!
Thank you to all who participated! Visit www.nationalguild.org regularly for professional development resources generated by 2005 conference sessions.
October 25–29, 2005 The National Guild Conference is North America's most important annual gathering of community-based arts education organizations. This year’s theme, Creative Connections, reflected both the essential role community schools play in developing the artistic potential of their communities and the multitude of networking, skill building, and information exchange opportunities inherent in the conference itself. The theme also referenced a unique opportunity to connect with hundreds of K-12 arts educators attending the International Network of Schools for the Advancement of Arts Education’s annual convention. The two conferences were presented side by side at our hotel in Pittsburgh. Guild delegates were eligible to attend most Network sessions at no additional cost.

With a commitment to life-long learning in the arts and both faculty and facilities available during the school day—primetime for retirees—many community schools of the arts are well-poised to serve this burgeoning population. This institute was designed to broaden your perspective and provide practical tools for developing programs of your own. Get details...
