Regional chapters provide a forum for Guild members to connect with their neighbors. Through regional chapters, Guild members come together to share information and ideas, gain skills, provide mutual support and inspiration, and achieve common goals.
Chapters are led by member-elected officers who serve three-year terms, and may include a chair, vice-chair, secretary and representative of the Committee of School Directors. The Guild is currently comprised of 11 regional chapters:
Northeast (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI)
Eastern Great Lakes (Upstate NY)
New York Metro (NYC, Northern NJ)
Mid-Atlantic (Eastern PA, Southern NJ, MD, DE, WV)
Central Great Lakes (Western PA, OH, KY, IN, MI)
Southern (VA, TN, NC, SC, GA, AL, MS, AR, LA, FL)
Southwest (OK, TX, NM, AZ)
Western Great Lakes (MN, WI, IA, IL, MO, KS)
Mountain (CO, UT, NE, WY, ND, SD)
Northwest (AK, WA, OR, ID, MT)
West Coast (CA, NV, HI)
Chapters hold at least two meetings a year: one in the fall (in conjunction with the national conference) and one in the spring. Chapters also may meet by conference call.
