Education Affiliate membership provides National Guild programs and services to the wider arts education field.

An Education Affiliate member is an educational organization which is not tax-exempt or a tax-exempt institution with restrictive admission requirements for all of its programs

Examples of Education Affiliates: for-profit schools, audition-only programs, arts-in-education and/or artist-in-residency programs, and programs requiring religious affiliation

•Receive up to six copies of GUILDNotes, our quarterly newsletter, which includes feature articles and interviews that offer practical guidance, insights, and research into emerging trends in community arts education

•Take advantage of the Peer Advisory Service, a free referral service connecting you by phone to experienced professionals in the field

•Post your profile listing in the “Find a Member” Online Search Directory . Your school’s listing allows prospective students to find you quickly and easily. You can also use the directory to contact your peers at other Guild member schools across the country.

•Subscribe to the Community Arts Education Listserv, which connects you with other members for peer-to-peer networking and guidance.

•Join us for our national conference, chapter meetings and regional training events. 

•Participate in Guild Teleconferences, coordinated by the national office to promote networking and professional development

ADVOCATE FOR COMMUNITY ARTS EDUCATION

The Guild promotes the value of community arts education to funders and policy makers through local and national media, and partnerships with organizations such as Americans for the Arts, the Arts Education Partnership and the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies
