Darlington Arts Center welcomes Susan Nicodemus Quinn as she energetically joined the Darlington staff as the new Executive Director this winter. Susan has been a part of the Darlington Community for the past 3 years, attending special events and watching her kids enjoy summer camps and classes.
Susan joins Darlington’s staff after having spent 11 years as Director of Education at Walnut Street Theatre where she vastly expanded the program and offerings, from reaching 15,000 individuals in 1999 to over 110,000 annually. Her core values regarding arts education strongly reflect the beliefs shared by the Darlington Community. She believes the arts open new opportunities for success for individuals, which in turn increase self confidence, strengthen collaborative skills, improve learning, and expand one's world-view. These values support her commitment to creating high quality arts experiences.
