On February 9, 2012, the Colburn Orchestra, of Guild member organization the Colburn School, performed alongside Grammy winners Robert Cray, Jonny Lang and Mavis Staples; and this year's Grammy nominees Dave Koz and Ledisi at "One Night Only: A Celebration Of The Live Music Experience" --- the 14th Annual Grammy Foundation Music Preservation Project. Hosted by the Grammy Foundation, the event explored the history and evolution of live concert performances and celebrated the various and invaluable contributions of those events, key players behind them, and their influence on the American cultural landscape.

The Colburn School's mission is to provide the highest quality performing arts education in an optimal learning environment. As part of the educational experience, and our community focus, The Colburn School emphasizes the importance of performing by presenting over 300 concerts each year by our students, faculty and guest artists. Most performances are free of charge, open to the public, and with no tickets required.
