Jonathan Herman, executive director of the National Guild, is participating in “New Strategies,” a nonprofit revenue management program recently launched by the Global Social Enterprise Initiative at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

The National Guild, receiving sponsorship from American Express, is one of more than 80 nonprofit organizations from across the country participating in the program.

Starting on May 18th, senior nonprofit executives are engaging in intensive, four-day workshops focusing on generating and managing diverse revenue streams. Topics include program service revenue, corporate fundraising, cause marketing, impact investing, social media, government funding and other key subjects. Participants receive monthly support and have access to the program’s alumni network to share best practices.
