This year the National Guild will once again recognize individuals who have provided long-standing, exceptional service to the community arts education field with our Milestone Certificate of Appreciation. Help us identify community arts education leaders deserving of this special recognition by making a nomination by Friday, September 5.

Milestone Certificates will be awarded to seven executive directors or divisional directors at Guild member organizations who have demonstrated sustained leadership over a period of 20 years or longer. Nominations can be made by emailing a letter of nomination to
Letters of nomination should identify the nominee's long-term (20+ years) leadership role within the field and their commitment to supporting and advancing community arts education, highlighting relevant activities throughout the nominee's career. The nominee's current bio must be included with the nomination letter. Resumes and headshots are encouraged. Current Guild trustees are not eligible for nomination.
Milestone Certificates of Appreciation will be presented during the National Guild's Annual Meeting at the Conference for Community Arts Education (Los Angeles, CA) on Friday, November 21, 2014. Nominees do not have to be present at the Annual Meeting to receive recognition. Milestone recipients also will be recognized on our website, Member E-Bulletin, and in our quarterly newsletter, GuildNotes. We look forward to receiving your nominations.
