The National Guild's 75th annual Conference for Community Arts Education will be presented November 14-17, 2012 in Dallas, TX, and hosted by Big Thought. Mark your calendar!
The Conference for Community Arts Education is the preeminent gathering of community arts education leaders in the United States. As a delegate, you'll gain valuable information, share ideas with hundreds of peers, and identify new opportunities for growth.
While this year's program is still being developed, you can get a sense of the breadth and quality of program offerings by visiting our 2011 conference site. And stay tuned for more information on ways to get involved in our 2012 conference!
Program Planning Meeting
The National Guild for Community Arts Education, Big Thought, and the Texas Commission on the Arts are hosting the kick-off program planning meeting on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the Center for Community Cooperation, Oak Corners Room, 2900 Live Oak Street in Dallas. Morning coffee and lunch will be provided following the meeting.
The program planning meeting provides community arts education leaders an opportunity to shape the conference program by identifying key issues and opportunities affecting the field as well as exemplary organizations/programs that might be showcased during the conference. You'll also learn how to get involved in the conference by proposing a session or site visit, volunteering, etc.
