Kathy Davis Studios and American Greetings have chosen the National Guild as the sole recipient of royalties from a new line of cards developed to support the arts. Nine beautifully illustrated cards for many occasions feature Kathy’s signature watercolor paintings and thoughtful verse, and are embellished with stitching and other details that make them look and feel handcrafted. They are currently available in Kathy Davis displays in stores throughout the country, including Wegman’s, Rite Aid stores, and select CVS stores. Each card is overwrapped to protect its beautiful details, and a “Support the Arts” sticker appears on the front of each. The back of each card bears the Guild logo and mission statement. Kathy Davis Studios is donating 100 percent of the royalties it receives from the sale of the nine cards. American Greetings is providing a 100 percent match of the royalties.

“The National Guild is proud to have been chosen by such a dynamic, creative company for this recognition and support,” said Guild Executive Director Jonathan Herman. “This partnership strengthens the Guild’s ability to ‘Scatter Joy through Art’— Kathy Davis’s mission — by supporting programs and services that make arts education more accessible to everyone.”

“This is exactly the kind of symbiotic relationship we’ve been seeking,” said Bill Lessa, Director of Community Relations and Culture at Kathy Davis Studios. “We are delighted to be able to contribute to an organization whose goals are so closely aligned with our mission.”
