Join us for a special orientation webinar to learn more about the National Arts & Humanities Youth Program Awards and how to apply.

The National Arts and Humanities Youth Program Award is the nation's highest honor for out-of-school arts and humanities programs that celebrate the creativity of America's young people, particularly those from underserved communities. It is a project of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Recipients of the award receive a $10,000 grant, an invitation to attend the White House awards ceremony hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama, and a full year of capacity-building and communications support, designed to make their organizations stronger. The application deadline is Monday, February 10, 2014.

During this one-hour interactive webinar, representatives from the National Guild and the President's Committee for the Arts and Humanities will:

  1. Provide an overview of the National Arts & Humanities Youth Program Awards
  2. Answer your questions about eligibility criteria and the application and selection processes
  3. Share recommendations for submitting a competitive application
